Head of Finance

The Head of Finance Manager or Head of Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, we are inviting highly motivated and well-established CA, CFA to head our Account and/or Finance, which amongst others involve Accounting, Auditing, Banking and loan management, cash management, conducting financial analysis of new investments/ projects, reporting and compliance (including MIS, Board agenda/ presentations on financial health). Prior experience in shipping industry and derivatives will be an added advantage.
Qualifications & Experience
• Strong foundation in Account & Finance, with proven experience in corporate or maritime/shipping finance leadership roles.
• Ability to prepare and interpret Financial Statements and perform accurate Financial Reporting.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills to support strategic decision-making and performance analysis.
• Experience in Budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting for complex organizations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel or financial modeling tools.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CFA are required.
• Proven experience of handling Auditing, leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to convey complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
• Experience in the shipping, maritime, or logistics industry is highly desirable.
