Mr. Mohamed Khalifa A Al-Sada

Chairman and Managing Director

He is one of the most experienced and respected senior professionals in the shipping and maritime industry of the State of Qatar. During his tenure at the government of the state of Qatar, he has been responsible in building the initial policies that defined the development of the ports for the state of Qatar. He is the ex-vice chairman of Qatar Shipping Company (Q-Ship). During his period at Q-Ship, the company expanded to becoming one of the largest ship owning and operating company in the region. He is also the ex-chairman of Qatar Quarries and Building Materials Company and is credited with commencing the first import of Gabbro into the state of Qatar. He has been instrumental in establishing S’hail Shipping and Maritime Services PQSC. His invaluable knowledge and net-work in the shipping and maritime sector will act as beacon for the growth of S’hail.

Mr. Rajiv Pal

Chief Executive Officer

He is an engineer with post graduation in organization studies. He has over 2 decades of hands-on experience in shipping and maritime sector. Before joining S’hail, he was operating over a billion dollar of shipping assets in Singapore. And, prior to that, during 2001 to 2005, he was the manager of business development and planning at Qatar Shipping Company (Q-Ship) where he was the key player in developing multi billion dollar expansion and diversification projects for Q-Ship involving various sectors / segments / aspects of shipping and maritime industry. He started his career in 1990 as a graduate engineer trainee at Essar Shipping Limited, Mumbai and since then he has accumulated wealth of knowledge in all aspects of shipping from options of financing, new-building, sale & purchase, insurance to ship management and chartering. He brings-in the expertise to S’hail to deliver high standards of services to its clients at the most competitive freights.

Mr. Akil Nimachwala

Head (Finance, Accounts & Administration)

CA Akil Nimachwala is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has over 10 years of experience working in various industries in India and Qatar. He has extensive knowledge in Project Financing, ERP Implementation, International Taxation and IFRS. He joins S'hail to Head Finance, Account, Tax Compliance & Administration (FATCA) to safely monitor and grow the financial health of the company.

Capt. Gawain Gonsalves

Marine Manager

At S’hail, he is the first point of contact for all post-fixture matters relating to the charter party and vessel operations (including vessel performance, agency, cargo operation, vessel navigation, and all other marine-related matters). He joins us with over 23 years of experience in the shipping industry which includes command of Panamax and Supramax bulk carriers. His experience in sea and on-shore will greatly contribute to safe, reliable and productive operation of S’hail’s owned and/or controlled fleet.

Mr. Mukut Singh Raghav

Commercial Operation

A qualified graduate with in-depth experience in Ship Broking / Chartering / Dry bulk Operations. He started his career with a Ship Broking firm and after gaining hands on experience while working with reputable owners and charterers moved onto the Ship Operating segment of chartering and worked with reputable dry bulk ship operating companies. After understanding the concepts of the operating model of the business and taking into account both owners and charterers point of view , to enhance his field of knowledge more he moved onto S’hail Shipping .With about 12 years of in-depth knowledge in various fields related to shipping, he shall be contributing to fruitful employment of S’hail Ships and broadening the horizon of the company by adding further business avenues and establishing relationships with various charterers/shippers/receivers
